I use MapPilot. Take off, switch to P, get your camera pointed and focused - then close DJI and open Mappilot, upload the mission and go.

Just tap to focus. 14-42 is autofocus by default (no on-body switch to turn it off).

X5/X5$ can be freely moved between the Inspire and the Osmo. No need to change firmware in between, camera knows what system its connected to.

Bottom line, the X5 is significantly better than the X3 (or P4). I disagree with you whole-heartedly about the X5 not being that much better. Although the X5R isn't that much more expensive, it's wasted money unless video is your bread and butter. (In my opinion).

Agree. If you're only using it zoomed in all the time, the 45mm is a better option (and is a much better lens). I use the 14-42 primarily for inspections. Great for stuff like this:
