    You are getting bad information or the person you heard it from had a problem that was not corrected.

    The only other airspace restrictions in that location is Class B but it doesn't start till 3000 feet.

    The mount that the camera mounts to (Vibration Isolation mount) will most likely need to be replaced. I have had the same issue and the vibration isolation mount was the issue.

    Most likely YES, 3 years from now the X5R technology will be 7-8 years old. Actually I think it will be older than that.

    In addition to what @jpalamaro said, consider the fact of a tedious, time consuming and data rich work flow of RAW video from the X5R. Be prepared to get more software, storage and possibly a faster computer.
