    On a Golfers tip

Great tip, slim.slamma. I have been using quarters and gaffers tape, but the lead tape looks far more elegant Here's a question. How do you feel about the adhesive. Any possibility that it can come off in flight and is it hard to get off when you want to change it?

I have been considering purchasing that lens, but never actually saw any zooming footage from that lens. Do you have any you can share?

    USA Do I need Insurance?

Thanks, Just to be clear. According to Global aviation it is just like car insurance. You insure per can, not driver. As for me, I own 2 drones and yes only have one in the air at any given time. My homeowner's policy has an umbrella that says that I am covered for recreational flights, but I...

    USA Do I need Insurance?

I am a 107 pilot that has been insured in the past with an aviation policy underwritten by Global Aviation (a very reputable firm) It is a good policy and I always fly with confidence. I am a professional videographer and being able to put one of my 2 drones up for certain shots is very...

Does this look like a bad SD card issue?

Hey, thanks for the reply. So I am shooting an x5s with an Olympus 17mm. And because I have the dng and QuickTime license I am shooting either dng or 422 simultaneously and it looks great. So I think that squarely rules out a lens issue

Does this look like a bad SD card issue?

Suddenly out of nowhere everything on the SSD card looks great, but everything on the SD card looks smeared. To make it even stranger it seems more pronounced on the right side of the image.

Am I Off Base? Or, simple trick balancing ring?

I have been using coins (quarters) and gaffers tape for years. Works great and very need and unobtrusive. Here are 2 16 second videos showing the balancing of the Olympus which is wildly front-heavy. Rear balance: Side balance:

    Any and all advice welcome

The x7 is very nice, but as a fellow photographer, if you can’t get it done with the x5s, you’re simple not trying. I love my I2 with the x5s.

USA Flying inside a large building. And the FAA

A good point to consider. I mean technically if someone gets hurt wouldn't that be an aviation-related accident? Thank you

USA Flying inside a large building. And the FAA

If as a 107 pilot (or any for that matter) being asked to fly inside a large building, does the FAA control from the floor up or from the roof up? I ask for 2 different reasons. If it is only from the roof up, does the class of airspace matter and can you fly over people that are in the...

Concerns about the Geo fencing and updating the NO Fly database

Yes, but I hear you can only do that a certain number of times before you are locked out. Yikes! What then?
