I use an air blower bulb but I never physically touch the sensor!!

You’re absolutely right! It’s the last thing that you should be cleaning but my point was that if you do have to clean it be very careful.

Actually I have found that all wide angle lens have distortion on some level. It’s just part of the way they work. You have to take the good with the bad.
