The lens is sharpest between f/5.6 - f/8. My resolution tests verified this for all the lenses.

If you want to use the in-camera noise reduction, use the h.264 100mbs option. However, if you want to bypass DJI's in-camera and use far-superior noise reduction software in post processing like Neat Video, then use ProRes or CinemaDNG which much better overall results.

Not sure where you are getting your information, Ringolong. But, I've been shooting at night with the X7 and it has been great...far better than the X5s. But, that is using the CinemaDNG recording path. Can't say the same for shooting h.264

You are very correct that there are virtually no professional signal processing or color matrix customization tools in the X7. Just the standard DSLR- Sharpness, Contrast, Color. But, I almost exclusively shoot CinemaDNG, which is raw, so I would not want to start adding those kinds of tweaks...
