    X5S Lens setup

The Olympus is fully functional, but it does NOT have a power zoom, what that means is you have to adjust the zoom before takeoff and cannot be adjusted in the air.(not an issue with the typical MFT camera you're holding in hand) this is the same for x5 and x5r. PZ version of the Panasonic lens...

    X5S Lens setup

if you search the forum, there are extensive threads on this question. although not official, many also use the laowa 7.5 mm lightweight version here's the list of officially supported lenses: DJI MFT 15mm/1.7 ASPH (With Balancing Ring and Lens Hood) Panasonic Lumix 15mm/1.7 (With Balancing...

Blew my 2nd high pay film job! Please chime in.

with all due respect this seems a little silly. Your car can't hold a straight line when driving, you take it to the dealer to resolve. They don't tell you "eventually the car you purchased will work correctly." unacceptable.

30 second exposures from the ground?

Any advice on gimbal settings for shooting long exposure star photos from the ground? I was playing with this a few nights ago trying to get some shots of the leonids, set the i2 on the ground using a 30 second exposure, but many of them came out blurry like the gimbal twitched at some point...

    X5S Problem

strange , is it just in the live feed? or do your photos stored to the SD card or SSD turn out the same way? have you tried different lenses?

    X5S New Handheld

it entirely depends on your needs , NBC uses osmo with x3 for broadcast news interviews. A ronin is overkill for some needs, me included. it also has a fairly heavy price tag at 7K. if DJI gets it right there is definitely a segment of the market that would like this type of device. especially...

would someone have raw sample files to share

I'm very happy with the X5S! I didn't have the issue with the misaligned sensor, the only issue i had initally was the prop rattle issue with the i2, which was resolved with new prop locks. also an interesting side note , the dealer i purchased from @Florida Drone Supply sent me a pair of high...

would someone have raw sample files to share

Dropbox - DJI_0001.DNG this was taken the other day with the olympus 45mm, keep in mind they look a little funky with the dropbox viewer, you have to open with photoshop to get a good impression of what the DNG really looks like. straight from the camera with no processing.

Industrial inspections Zoom lens for X5S help?

How long have you been using this lens? have you had any issues with the gimbal on windy days, was talking to a dealer a while back and he mentioned they were seeing an increase with the X5S gimbras coming in with burnt out motors, he suspected that it was this lens frying the gimbal motors in...

    Filters for 45mm lens?

it depends on the weight of your filter(s) and or step-up ring combo, I use Tiffon filters which seem to be a bit heavier than the polar pros, not everyone uses the same filters and rings, so different configurations may require it ;)

    X5S New Handheld

if the x5s works with the m200 which to my knowledge doesn't have cinecore SoC, it seems they could do this possibly without raw? or possibly a processor module to allow RAW/SSD? ive been really looking forward to this like many here. but wont hold my breath....

    Filters for 45mm lens?

for the Olympus 45mm I used a command strip with velcro on the back of a quarter and put a strip on the back of the camera so its easily removable when using other lenses and doesn't collect dust and gunk. i felt a little more comfortable with velcro command strips than using the putty method...
