    Best Video lens for X5S?

Hi, at first I started with an f4 aperture, but now I use f8 on all my Oly lenses and I'm more happy with the results. But I have to say that I do mostly photography, no video.

Flat RAW / DNG files from X5S (still photography)

These last days I'm having a lot of problems trying to get a connection between the controller and I2. Things are getting better, but still not fixed. Trying to find a solution, I've updated the dron firmware and, from what I can see, the colors look improved, more natural.

I don't know it but it's easy to try, just download the program, it's free.

X5S with Panasonic 42.5mm f1.7 lens, problems with RAW files in Lightroom?

Me too, but to me there is a visible difference using RawTherapee.

I agree, but I complain about AF precision, not AF speed. Again, I agree. Thanks.

I'm reviewing some files from some days ago. Please take a look at this one shoot with Oly 12mm. For what I've seen till now, I would say it's a decent one, regarding sharpness Dropbox - DJI_0026.DNG

Thanks for your information, very clear. Yes, I know that, but I also know that others mirrorless like Panasonic and many others use contrast autofocus, using sensor for AF and it seems to me that there is a difference with AF results. Yes, as with all my cameras since 2002. And a different...

Not happy with DNG files from X5s (still photography)

First of all, thanks to all of oyu, that's important to me, we all know that big investment and poor results are always an awful combination. Thanks for your comments and time. From my last post, I've found that I can I get the same results that with the Olympus E-M1, if the drone is still on a...

Not happy with DNG files from X5s (still photography)

Unfortunately, me too! But I'll keep on trying, Inspire 2 is on the top of the weight I can hike with and I have to try the best combination to get satisfactory results. I hope to try Olympus 17mm these days, I'm still looking for a wide angle with acceptable quality.

A new test with the drone on a table and a subject at about 600 meters away. The weather was really ugly, sorry. Even with Lightroom I would say it's decent (talking about sharpness).Like always, better with RawTherapee. Here's the best DNG I could get, whith Olympus 25mm at f3.5. At f5,6 is a...

What Balance Ring To Use ??

Hello, I use the two balancing rings together on my Oly 45 and it works fine. If you want to use a filter, I would say that you have to remove the balancing ring that weight the same that the filter.

Yes I use AF, but I don't have focus assist turned on. I didn't know I have to calibrate the lens, it has not been necessary with mthe Olympus E-M1, but I'll check it out how to do it. Sorry, I don't have X4s I'll try again this week with all your recomendations, thanks to all.

Not happy with DNG files from X5s (still photography)

I've just returned from another test fly and the results are, again, poor. By now the only lens that works correctly (I'm talking about detail) is the Olympus 45mm. But I get too many pictures out of focus that you don't realize till you're at home. Again the best results with RawTheraphy. I've...

Well, thanks! As SanCap ask, it would be nice to know how to "remove most of the "cruft". Some days ago I processed some pictures with RawTheraphy and the results are frankly better, but it's a new program to me with a lot (too much?) controls.
