    UK The dreaded "congested area"

    167 is no longer applicable; however, If you were to fall foul of the police (they prosecute, not the caa) then I would expect that you would be prosecuted under 167 section 5 In this article ‘a small unmanned surveillance aircraft’ means a small unmanned aircraft which is equipped to undertake...

    UK The dreaded "congested area"

    CAP722 is just a guidance document... but you would be well advised to consider it to be a 'minimum operating standard'. It's important to read & understand it but you should always consider above all else, that visible safety is the most important guide through any ambiguity. When reading the...

It seems that most people don't bother reading all the relevant materials in CAP 393 (LAW); here is a list of...

    UK The dreaded "congested area"

    A lonely farm track is not a congested area! Take a look at the ANO 2016 SCHEDULE 1 Article 2 INTERPRETATION (page 124) “Congested area” in relation to a city, town or settlement, means any area which is substantially used for residential, industrial, commercial or recreational purposes;

    Does anyone know how good DJI service in Europe are with X5 gimbal repair or replacement. Mine went in for repair about 10 days ago and I've heard nothing since but i can see from the website that its been stuck in the 'Conducting Damage Assessment ' queue for 3 days... UK The dreaded "congested area"

    no no - its the other way around ! The ANO states:.. 95.—(1) The person in charge of a small unmanned surveillance aircraft must not fly the aircraft in any of the circumstances described in paragraph (2) except in accordance with a permission issued by the CAA. so the ANO is the base line and...

    I wasn't aware that the CAA won't accept an OSC application from a first year operator, where did you learn that Mark?

    UK OSC for an Inspire - anyone sucessful??

    i dont think its 7+kg thats important to the CAA, i think its the redundancy, which at the moment will push the airframe mass above 7kg.
