UK Would I be wasting my money with a PfCO in the UK?

Just to echo the above. I would recommend RUSTA and I use an Inspire with no problems. You will just struggle to get an exemption from the standard safe distances with a quad. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

UK OSC for an Inspire - anyone sucessful??

That's right - they would not belive you could build a redundant hex under 7kg which I think would be easy now with current tech. 600mm frame with the n3 FC. Twin GPS and batteries etc. Carrying thr X5 camera. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

UK OSC for an Inspire - anyone sucessful??

After a long phone call with them I got the blunt impression they belive that only a six rotor plus craft weighing over 7kg with redundant everything would get a OSC passed. The M600 might be the cheapest way to.go? Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

    UK Help with controlled airspace

Hello, I have had my first request for a building survey within controlled airspace in Bournemouth, Dorset. The issues it they need it done tomorrow! The flight is outside the Bournemouth Airport ATZ but inside the class D CTR airspace. I understand I need permission from Bmth ATC for this...

    UK Horizontal / Vertical Seperation

The 50m is a slant line from the aircraft - horizontal separation decreases as the aircraft ascends. The rule for take off/landing is 30m separation changing to 50m afterwards. So 50m altitude the horizontal separation is technically zero - though overflying is not allowed. Also it's not roads...

    X3 camera instead of x5

How good is the photo quality for building surveys compared to the X5 with a 45mm lens. Is the extra cost worth it or a waste of money? Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

    redundancy

Yes I have some some research and you are right the M600 is big! I might try and find an s800 evo new for sale - could that be converted to fly with two batteries? I have also found a switching unit that can run two flight computers! Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

    redundancy

Hi, I am looking at replacing my Inspire with a M600 for building inspection work due to the longer flight time and increased redundancy. Am I correct in that the M600 can fly following the lost of a single battery or propellor/motor/esc - and with the pro version of the A3 there is redundancy...

UK OSC for an Inspire - anyone sucessful??

I was told that even with a parachute I would be unlikely to be successful for reducitnwg the standoff distances. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
