Getting back to your question, taking off from a steel deck screws with your compass and you want to get some separation between your aircraft and the deck. Ideally use a Phantom and hand launch/catch and get up and away from the magnetic field of all that steel quickly.

Have a look at DroneDeploy. I haven't tried it around buildings but it's great for orthophotos Or Agisoft Photoscan if you're wanting to generate contour plots.

The X5R is a very specialised piece and very few pros would have any need for it. DJI wil probably sell a lot more to non-pros who just want to have the "best" and they'll soon discover that raw video isn't anything they need or can manage.

I've been monitoring it pretty closely and the P3 rollout is remarkable free of the kind of glitches that people expect with a new DJI release. A few new pilots doing dopey beginner stuff but no systematic issues reported so far.

No ... not the Matrix. It's no little brother and hasn't been released yet. DJI's most recent product release seems to have been free of the troubles that people have come to expect.

That might be a thing of the past. The Inspire's little brother looks like it just might be breaking that trend. :)
