    USA 333 for UK citizen

Good news thanks, did you apply directly to the FAA for the 333 or did you go through a lawyer? Thanks again, Mark

    USA 333 for UK citizen

OK thanks, it may be just a one off job, if so I'll check out your link, thx again. Can you apply directly to the FAA for a 333 or do have to go through a lawyer? Thanks again, Mark

    USA 333 for UK citizen

Hello all, A quick question, finding it hard to get a conclusive answer. Might have a job in the states, so can I apply for a 333 as a non-US citizen or is there another route open to aliens. Thanks for any help, Mark

A valid and often overlooked point.

Sorry help needed please...lens distortion grid

Hello all, Out of interest, do you know if a shot taken with the X5 12mm lens, of a lens distortion grid (or similar) exists anywhere? We need to remove the lens distortion before we do our 3D track & everything in the shot is organic (no straight lines). Many thanks in advance. Mark

Agree just like the GoPro 4 Black IMO.

Well sat on the fence long enough.....X5 or X5R or dronexpert solution

Agree it's better camera, both stills and film, the bitrate was never a problem for me, I've used a C100 and I believe that has a bitrate of 30/40mb, but the quality is excellent. After about 1yr of hype I was hoping for something better than the X5 especially at 4x the cost. Just my thoughts.

Well sat on the fence long enough.....X5 or X5R or dronexpert solution

Thanks for the info, that's good I've haven't brought one yet. But I do like the mirrorless or M43 option as an aerial camera. But not a GH4, as good as it is, there's gotta be better still options as well as film.

Well sat on the fence long enough.....X5 or X5R or dronexpert solution

Agree it's a bit "Heath Robinson" but you can't deny the Sony RX100 IV is a far better camera than the X5. Though that said there is testing going on with a 45mm lens on the X5, unbalanced yes, but a great piece of glass.

Well sat on the fence long enough.....X5 or X5R or dronexpert solution

I've waited and still wait, read a lot and watched hours of Ytube videos. There are some very great photographers on here, also the likes of "iancresswell" and "jim hare" on the rcgroups and DJI forum have forgotten more about film and glass then I'll ever know. So I like the X3 for what it is...

    Where is the UK stock??

It happened in November with the I1, we didn't get any in the UK until January.
