UK help needed with getting flight logs to CAA

I started handwriting down my logs after I lost track of all the flights I did with GSPro and AutoPilot, both of which are not recorded in the DJI Go logs. I managed to get them from the logs in the bird itself, but it was a PITA. Best advice is to keep a handwritten log, like Editor already said.

    Choppy/flickering video (not playback related)

Wouldn't it be just the write speed on the SD card that is too slow?

Amateur drones banned from Dutch Rally and Autosport events

As far as the Dutch federation for auto sports KNAF concerns, from now on, amateur drones are banned completely for rally and race events. The many amateur drones flying around the tracks are getting a real PITA for them and are a threat to safety. Autosport is like aviation in that respect...

Dji go 4 and matrice m100

Don't you need GO 3 instead of 4? 4 is only for the Inspire2, Phantom4 series and Mavik AFAIK. Matrice 100 uses GO 3, like Inspire1. Unless I'm totally wrong of course.

    Roof Inspection

I have done some testing with the highest possible shutter speeds and frame rates (with the X3 camera). I needed a sun cap for the X3 to block out the shadows of the props but otherwise the footage was very usable. And every frame was a perfect still picture, crisp like a photo. Using the...

    Roof Inspection

Neither is your comment. I didn't have a certain attitude other than trying to say how simple it is to find answers before anyone else hand them to you. I honestly don't possess, or have the feeling, for the typical tongue in cheek (smily smily) correctness that is so commonly used right now. I...

    Roof Inspection

Sorry man. I didn't mean anything personal with it. Just that a few clicks gives a wealth of information and saves you the trouble from waiting for anyone to respond. I wish you all the strength in the world!

    Roof Inspection

I could be a smart *** by saying: It took me 4 or 5 clicks (not even 20 seconds) to find out the OP had an I1 (before answering his question), browsing through most recent posts of him. It's quicker to find than typing the question. But I won't, don't worry. Cheers.

    Roof Inspection

Using a high shutter speed you could do 4K video. You will have no motion blur with a fast shutter. That way it is easier to pinpoint where a specific freeze frame is looking at while skipping through the footage. Flown manually I would prefer to do it in 3 separate runs. South, north and...

USA So. Couldn't use my Part WTF!?07 license the other day...

It's everywhere, the upside down regulating. In the Netherlands for instance, Joe Hobbyist is allowed to fly within meters of a highway, as long as he's not directly above it. Us fully licensed operators have to apply for an exemption, after writing a procedure that first has to be approved...

DJI M200 means Inspire 2 is dead in the water!

White Airwolf implied that. I answered his post. But about the retracts, I guess you're right. Some DJI specs are just not to be trusted. Which ones, is always the question with DJI.

DJI M200 means Inspire 2 is dead in the water!

Neither did I. "Honey, do you mind if I turn off the PORN FILTER temporarily, I need to buy a ground station."

DJI M200 means Inspire 2 is dead in the water!

Retractable Landing Gear Standard At least that's what's mentioned in the specs DJI - The World Leader in Camera Drones/Quadcopters for Aerial Photography I don't want to imply DJI designed the M200 for cinematography. But it's not entirely impossible. No X3, where did you read that? Matrice...

    Minimum time for consecutive images

If you do it that way, make sure you set a higher shutter speed than when filming normally. Leave the HD filter off. If the shutter speed is high enough, freeze frames will look like photos. Unless you choose for a cinematic blur of course, which can be useful as well at times.
