Same here. Submitted back on the 9th of September, received response on the 14th. Submitted another on the 20th, and got another response the next day. Almost faster than DJI... :)

What kind of class e extensions? The magenta gradient ones? The cyan gradient ones? Class G airspace is below those so Part 107 pilots are able to fly.

That is your temporary certification.

I believe that's the point of the part 107. I didn't know anything about the NAS prior to needing the 107 certificate, but have a much greater understanding and appreciation for the rules and regulations. I for one didn't like the fact that we needed a full blown license to operate a small...

Sweet! Didn't think it qualified as class G! No I won't be that high up. That makes sense though...i just figured that since it was in class e airspace I'd still need permission...but it is 700 agl so I'm all clear! Thanks!

Ok. So I've got a question then. I'm going to be down in Hana Maui for the next few days and wanted to fly. It's in class E airspance 700 agl. Do I contact the atc/fss for permission or fill out this waiver?

Looks like I'm joining the ranks as well! Passed with a 85! Woot! I studied all the free resources that are available and still passed, even better than some of those that took paid courses! Stoked I saved some money!
