    USA Struggling For Work

Yeah... well, mine is too. I think there are 23,000 residents here. BUT!, there are business owners here, and that's where I focus my attention. I do a lot of Social Media spots for local businesses, and some hit the local ABC station. Prob been the majority of my income is advertising.

Better yes... Good work.. Spend your $ on editing software, and shoot , shoot, and shoot some more. I've learned a ton of stuff from people on this forum over the past 2 1/2 years, and I've produced some absolute sh*t at first, and still learn new stuff everyday. I look at things I produced 2...

Also... look at your background audio track, and hit those scene changes on the beat (for this piece), and whip it hard, with no soft transitions... You can scatter them here and there, but a piece like this needs nothing more than hard scene changes, and more of them.

I know this isn't complete, but a quick note... with the pace of the music, you need quicker shot changes. I constantly look at commercial work (national).. and I look at how many scene changes there are in a 15-30 second spot. It's pretty amazing how many scenes are put together in just 15...

It's just pure inexperience in all sectors.. piloting, shooting, grading, editing.... This is the poster child for "in house" Real Estate promos.

This is what happens when these agencies give it a go for themselves. They just don't have the skill, experience, equipment, software to pull it off properly........ It was a nice driveway tho LOL!

Just look around... What @Scoobywrx05 is true. There are terrible pilots everywhere.. just look at this dizzying example from what an "Agency" posted... I almost threw up. Terrible shots, no interior, confusing and distracting graphics..etc. What a mess.

    USA Struggling For Work

I started up about 2 and a half years ago.. Did a lot of free work, just to get some material. Charities are a great way to spread the word, and also, join your local Chamber of Commerce. It's been a great way to get jobs. I also have a full time job, but my 2 days off a week are filled with...

    sd card retrieval

Tired of reaching with your fingernails to try and retrieve the sd card from your X5?.. take some Scotch tape and cut enough to fold and attach to the card with a tab long enough to grab.. kinda like the tab on the Osmo batteries.

USA 90 Days notice is insane for Part 107

Typical... treat you like a mushroom.. keep you in the dark and feed you sh*t.

USA 90 Days notice is insane for Part 107

Well, I think location to Class D, C, B has a lot to do with it. Im in Oklahoma, and this request was for a COA in 2 joined Delta's,... other than that, there is not another Delta for a hundred miles, and only 2 Charlies in the whole state. I would think that more congested areas take more...

USA 90 Days notice is insane for Part 107

My last request took 2 and a half months.... ridiculous.

USA What kinds of Part 107 work are you doing.

At least in my area, Real Estate is a tough nut to crack... Nobody know who's going to pay for the promo, and they don't want to pay very much for it. I've found that local Social Media spots (mostly 30 seconds) is a great way to help promote local small businesses. I charge anywhere from $395...

    USA Commercial Drone Operators

It would be interesting to see the numbers of how many owners actually registered... and another number of those who never knew they should.
