I think the solution to the whole issue is to make sure RAW is enabled with another lens. Then power down, slip on the 7.5mm and power back up, you will be able to shoot RAW without a hot swap. I did this a few weeks ago when I did the bridge and dam footage. Captured all in DNG without any hot...

Looks like it may be screwed up in a recent firmware. I looked at some recent shoots with my X4S on the I2 and it recorded 340 in the exif info, but when I looked at AIRDATA in the logs, it said 45 feet when it was taken. 45 Seems a lot closer to the actual image.
