Here's someone that did it in Florida and made a vid showing how he went about it. I've had to call a tower a couple times in my previous profession, and it can take some time to get thru. At some smaller airports, you can drive up to the tower and there is an intercom phone that will put you thru.

You could try calling the tower and asking the controller. I have seen where a drone operator called and was given permission for a local flight.

I have the Gannett and it works great. It uses a clip on sensor over one of the nav lights to trigger the release. You map one of the custom function buttons on the remote to turn front nav light on/off. It ways almost nothing. Inspire 2 Gannet payload release | Drone Fishing

If you pull a jet and shine light thru it, you will see some light even completely plugged because the gel is translucent. I use a 10x eye loupe to see the hole clearly.

No, the only ethanol free gas is race gas, something like $8 a gallon and its nasty stuff. There are some states that have ehanol free gas, but I don't have any near me. I can go to my local fbo and get it at a self serve pump.

A quick note, I use 3 Honda generators for various reasons, a Eu1000i, a Es5500 and an Eu6500I. All of them will suffer from ethanol gelling in the jets if they don't get used for 3 weeks or longer. To prevent this I use 100 Low Lead Avgas. It's ethanol free and can sit for over a year. If a...
