I’ve been told mec shutter is best for mapping. Rolling shutter not as good. I’ve been mapping with an x5s and will purchase an x4s for mapping because of some trouble wth flights over 250 images. Has to do with accumulation of error with the rolling shutter. IMHO

Yes you are correct........sometimes I just want an orthophotograph for sketch or presentation purposes and the end results for most of these softwares require some manipulation in another software first. .A 600MB orthophoto tif file will never open on my laptop but will in autocadd or Esri Arc...

I contacted DJI to ask if the Inspire 2 could have its GPS upgraded to those systems presently used on their Matrice 210s. They said no. So I doubt a different mfgrs unit would integrate easily. IMHO.

Yt Hi RMartin I have used Correlator and Pix4D along with GCPs 80% overlap at 200 to250 feet and I get inaccuracies when rechecking the distance and location of the GCPs on the finished map of up to 5 inches horizontally and 12 inches virtically. Not as good as I was expecting. Any tips...

Yea..... but you will have to remove them all in post(Pix4D Ray Cloud Editor), to make a good topo map........LOL
