    X5 Auto Exposure Flickering

No, just pack the camera in the plastic box it came in, and pack that well in a slightly larger box. I asked and received a pre-paid fedex shipping label from DJI. But here's the bad news.... The replacement they sent me did the exact same thing, even though it was from a "new" batch.

    X5 Auto Exposure Flickering

I'll let you know later this week... My X5 replacement from DJI should be here Tuesday.

    X5 Recap

You do get a message... I don't have mine in front of me, but when you calibrate, the inspire must be on the ground and the camera pointed at a house for example, 150 ft away. I used the roof line against the sky as the "high contrast" item. If it was too close, for instance the house across...

They might do it only if you pay for the replacement up front, then they could issue a refund when they receive yours. You could ask.

    X5 Recap

I just got word from DJI Support (I shipped it back to them on 10/30, they received it on 11/2, this message is from today 11/11): We have received your unit in our repair department and have inspected the issue. We will be replacing your unit with a new X5 due to the malfunction on the camera...

    X5 Recap

Yes, give them a call, they'll email you a RMA. Ask for a prepaid fedex label too! They've had mine for 8 days, but it just got to a tech yesterday. Hopefully they box up a new one and ship it out this week. The guy I talked to was familiar with the issue but wasn't exactly sure what was the...

    X5 Recap

I love the sharpness of the lens, but my X5 went to the DJI shop a week after I got it due to the auto exposure flickering issue. See X5 Flickering posts. Talked to DJI Pro Support yesterday and was told it's a known issue on a batch of X5's, and I will likely receive a new replacement in a...

X5 firmware missing from DJI site

Sounds like you are "in the know." I wonder what fixes we might expect...

    X5 Auto Exposure Flickering

Sorry, I missed your question over the weekend. Flight time has been up to 21 minutes. I only flew that long one time. I usually bring it down by :15 to :18. I think the prop locks are the only difference other than the mounting plate for the X5, and the stick-on feet risers.

X5 firmware missing from DJI site

Inspire 1 files are still there: Inspire 1 - Downloads - Manuals, Software, Drivers download | DJI But I see the X5 f/w is missing as you said. I hope they are fixing the Auto Exposure "jumping or chasing" problem with a firmware update. DJI service has my X5 right now to troubleshoot that issue.

    X5 Video file corruptions

The only other thing I can think of is if you turn off the battery power or remove the battery in the copter while the camera is still recording video, then the file will be corrupt.

    X5 Video file corruptions

It may be due to the size of the card (128GB). The X-5 only supports up to a 64GB card per DJI instruction. I wondered what would happen if I used a larger capacity card... I guess you answered that. I know this seems odd due to the large file size captured by the X5, but with only 20 min...
