    USA flying over people

If you are a Part 107 pilot, yes...you would need to get a waiver.

    UK 400ft and above.

I think you also have to be within 400 feet of the structure horizontally, under FAA Part 107.

    UK Pfco practice maneuvers

The 3DR sim is actually pretty good. You can fly through buildings, around trees, around the Statue of Liberty, etc.. Much better than the featureless DJI GO sim.

    USA What would you do?

Bring them down...so to speak ;-)

    UK Pfco practice maneuvers

Interesting that the UK requires demonstration of competency as well as knowledge. In actuality, I am all for that level of assessment and would be supportive of it in the US.

    Zenmuse xt with fpv goggles

If they are commercial inspections under Part 107, they are not allowed.

UK Who would be the land owner of a private golf course?

Good advice. In most states, the manager or person in charge of the private property is allowed to act for the owner and can either give or deny permission. Even if you launch from off of their property, it's a good idea to clear it with a manager/person in charge.

USA How long to receive temp licences?

I got my email about 10 days after taking and passing the test. I had started the IACRA application before taking the test, though.

I'd play it safe and notify them if you are within 8 SM. Here is a good resource.

USA Part 107 - flying above public road

Well, I'm not an attorney...nor do I play one on TV. That said, I think that having a flight operations manual for your commercial enterprise detailing safety steps and mitigating risk would be a good start. Within it, you could detail how you would mitigate purposefully flying directly over...

USA Part 107 - flying above public road

The obvious concern is the safety of those being flown over. I think the route to go is to come up with some ways to protect people you may be flying over, document that and ask for a waiver, as that is one of the sections for which one can get a waiver. Yes, it appears that flying offset to...

USA Part 107 - flying above public road

The short answer to your question appears to be "No...you can't." From the final rule: " § 107.39 Operation over human beings. No person may operate a small unmanned aircraft over a human being unless that human being is: (a) Directly participating in the operation of the small unmanned...

Is there a hard zoom from the remote

After some research, the manual states that some of the "supported lenses" offer zoom for still photos only. But, the manual doesn't state how this is accomplished.
