I have been testing my 7.5 over the past few days on the X5s and a pani GX8. Great results from both camera bodies. Night shots requires some attention and skill, but it is a killer lens for the daytime. I put it on the Inspire 2 and started the bird up. No trickery for me to get it...

Here’s a long shot, you can try to set your autofocus as a custom button. Then try to tap it or double tap it when it happens. It may change your focus to center. It does sound like your focus assist is......assisting.

There is a thread somewhere about the focus and the 45mm calibration. It does seem to affect the auto focus also. Seems to set the infinite point. If not set for the correct distance, the autofocus will reach it max and not focus properly. I have experienced this. I ended up calibrating on a...

Great review. I appreciate it! I almost pulled the trigger on this lens yesterday. The capture and fov is gorgeous. Little to no distortion. I too do not like the idea of handling the gimbal when it is activated. I hope DJI will address this soon. Shooting without a lens should be an easy fix...

Does completely balancing the lens give better results, longevity? I have a 45mm that is slightly off balanced with one of my UV filters. I have not noticed a difference in performance or temps.

I noticed that they removed the statement for the handle from the X5S page. They do have mention of future products in the FAQs. I will be disappointed if I am unable to use this component on the ground. I am debating purchasing a Panasonic GX8 for the time being to utilize my collection of lenses.
