    Crystalsky and DJI pilot beta

Progress - after trying several USB cables i can now at least get into the aircraft via Assistant and find the DAT files, how I get them onto DJI servers and then AirData is the next test!

    Crystalsky and DJI pilot beta

Anyone found a way of getting the flight data? I've tried every self-help method and no avail - does anyone know how to access flight log data from a M210 or DJI Pilot on Crystal Sky please?! Tried Assistant but does not connect to the aircraft and there is seemingly no 'logbook' on Pilot...

Never been a fan of online training, nothing is better than being in a room with an instructor where you can ask questions.

UK Flyby Technology, unsolicited Emails and Data Protection Breach

The initial paragraph in the email actually says a lot; it discusses how you can easily renew on your own (and not trying to take your money saying you have to do it through an NQE) and even gives advice on what you need to check when renewing given the recent faff with insurance and renewals...

    Matrice 200 (M200)

To be fair to DJI, the I2 was marketed as a film makers dream and not an industrial workhorse. I too am annoyed as I can't take my expensive X5 from the I1 to I2, but if they made one aircraft that could carry everything how would they make all that profit

UK New CAA Charges for 17/18

Yep - so it is down to the PfCO holders to a) educate the client that it is illegal and with no protection if they use a cowboy and b) report to the police all instances of known (ideally provable via FB, YouTube) violation. They might not investigate all but if they do one, word will spread...

UK What industry for a new start?

What does your business case say? If you have done that fully you will have identified a need (client), completed a SWOT analysis and worked out where to go. As for aircraft, again your deliverable will define the capability, the capability will then be attached to an airframe. And you are in...

    UK ANO 2016 v PFAW/PFCO

It is quite clear, whether recreational or commercial, in the UK 400ft is you max altitude iaw Art. 94 - the ANO applies to all. Also, the drone code gives guidance and comes from the ANO. VLOS has primacy so, if you fly a Mavic and can only see it to 200ft or 300m then that becomes your limit...

X5 HF prime lenses vs Zoom lens for Inspections
