Any definitive answer on this? Everything I can find says that CMOS = Line x Line (rolling) capture.

It comes up in mapping applications where our drones are traveling near 20 mph while taking photos. It's still unclear to me whether or not the X4s with mechanical shutter = global shutter and elimination of rolling shutter effect.

Has anyone used lead tape for this? It's quite low profile. You can find it at your local golf shop.

I put a new card in a few minutes ago. Oddly enough it didn't have the message about reformatting being suggested but it did cause the app to tell me that my camera needs an update, which it doesn't. Weird. I already tried reformatting to Fat32 but I'll give it another shot.

Good summary except....today's version of the Pro update updated my aircraft firmware on my Pro to 1.5.00.30 so I believe this mornings updated version includes the aircraft firmware. I had reverted to the old 1.1.0.040 firmware yesterday. I believe the new version has straightened things out...

The latest guy emphatically states that the Inspire firmware is not to be applied to the Inspire 1 Pro, which makes sense to me. I actually argued with one of the guys when he told me to download the Inspire 1 Firmware. I'm rolling back to 1.1.0.40 at this point. I should have known better...
