The 1080 should be avoided on the camera at this stage unless they improve it. it's night and day to 4K and does show the purple you mentioned. 4K RAW exporting via Cinema DNG is the way to go. I've been blown away by the quality and the detail retained verses the h264 stream of the same clip...

But one trick I learnt the hard way is you can't record to the SSD without a micro SD inserted :)

I will try again, but on first glance it appears to be now resolved with the .3 update. Will report back. I did encode in AE and then import into PP though. Much faster to encode now also so something has happened

It just kept on crashing on Mercury open GL, I'm running a maxed out spec wise 2015 retina Mac book pro 15 inch will all the latest updates

I had this the other night, had to change the render engine from open GL to softwareonly and then it worked. Was slow

Thanks for the tip on Resolve Damon, it's so much faster to work with this footage on the same hardware! I wish Premeire Pro worked like this

Bit of an update, SlimRaw have now released the update to handle the 1080p feed. They also said they got more information on the 1080p bit depth, it is still 12bit at the lower frame rates (23.97), but drops to 10bit at the higher frame rates (60fps). I'm trying to see what is the minimum frame...

I haven't seen the flickering yet luckily, hope DJI are looking at this for the next firmware update

You could try upgrading the Ram which I think would definitely help, mine doesn't crash, and I converted 4K, it does take a while to convert the 4K though. My Mac book pro is a 15inch retina one maxed out on specs. Are you running an SSD as well? I have a 1TB SSD in the machine.

On my Mac book pro, I select all the clips I want and click export? It will then export all the clips into there individual folders, one DNG at a time
