As of this morning my "green button" that linked to my temp certificate is no longer showing up. I can only hope that means my certification has been put in the mail and I will have it soon.

Congrats! At least someone is having some success. :) I got a form response from them today that they were unable to process my request because I failed to give them at least 90 days notice. I guess that is going to be their way of clearing out the back log of requests.

You can submit for a waiver one you get your temporary certificate. In the Waiver and Airspace Authorization Application Instructions it says that, if you don't have your Cert # to put Pending in that field.

No Coordinates is pretty simple. It gives you the actual coordinates which are needed for airspace authorizations on the FAA website.

The temporary cert doesn't have a number. It just says "Pending"

I think once they get all the grids completed from the airports it will be automated approval unless it is outside of the standard altitude limit.

It would be nice if they had an app for the submission. That would be great if it could grab your current position when on site. I've got the Coordinates app for iOS. It is pretty good.

For the night flight waiver one of the performance based standards is that the sUA needs to be seen at a distance of 3 statute miles (unless a system is in place that can avoid all non-participating aircraft). So, are people adding strobe lights? or are the developing systems to avoid...

Lol, I'm not holding my breath for this one. I believe the temp cert is good for 120 days, so I am expecting to wait at least a month or 2 for the permanent cert (if not longer). :)
